Our client, a large multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their innovative team. The PM will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust financial solutions, focusing on a range of financial systems, including but not limited to SAP and Qlik reporting, to drive business efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects, implementation partners and Finance team to ensure that assigned project(s) meet business goals, timeline, budget, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Define, understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Define & manage project scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, issues, and communications for financial systems, including SAP, Qlik, and other key financial platforms.
  • Deliver end-to-end solution that ensure system integration, data integrity, and optimal performance, while complying with pharmaceutical industry regulations.

Collaboration and Alignment

  • Work closely with project and business stakeholders to define and understand project scopes, timelines, and objectives, providing guidance for the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Solution Engineers to ensure that solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, business objectives, and regulatory requirements. Manage solution design process and external dependencies.
  • Create required project documentation.

Solution Implementation

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of applications in scope in collaboration with project teams.
  • Provide leadership and support to cross-functional teams during the deployment of solutions, addressing any project issues or roadblocks.

Testing and Validation

  • Ensure that all solutions meet functionality, performance, security, and regulatory standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Ensure required end-to-end integration is in place.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Proactively communicate with business and technical stakeholders to provide updates on implementation status, escalate issues as needed, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in Finance project management – e.g., SAP, Qlik, and other financial platforms
  • Familiarity with Confluence, LeanIX, MS Project and/or other PM tools is a plus
  • Very strong stakeholder management
